Steve Stalzer, PT, MBA

Steve Stalzer, PT, MBA

Steve has over 20 years of healthcare leadership experience including roles as Partner at Proaxis Therapy, VP of Operations - Strategic Development at ATI Physical Therapy, and Founding Partner at Axis Sports Medicine. He and his partners grew Proaxis from 4 to 40 clinics through organic and acquisition growth, and health system joint partnerships. They led industry innovation in hospital joint ventures, therapist residency programs, data analytics, and clinical care pathways.  

Following the successful sale of Proaxis Therapy in 2015, Steve started 8150 Advisors where he helps clinic owners maximize their practice value through Practice Consulting and M&A Advisory. 

He hold an MBA from the University of Colorado as well as an MS in Physical Therapy and BS in Organizational Psychology from University of South Dakota. He has published several articles on building practice value, practice management and advances in sports medicine. Steve resides near Vail, CO with his wife Melanie and three labs Gus, Eddie, and Zeus.

Robbie Leonard, PT, DPT

Robbie Leonard, PT, DPT

Robbie brings over 25 years of practice administration experience to the clients of 8150. With expertise in revenue cycle management, corporate and practice compliance, and charge capture, Robbie has a wealth of knowledge that helps owners achieve both compliance and optimal performance. Robbie is skilled in reviewing and translating payor contracts and is an incredible resource for payor negotiations.

She has experience working and consulting with both small and large practices. She teaches academically and in continuing education seminars across the country. Robbie specializes in billing and coding, compliance training, strategic planning, practice efficiency (LEAN healthcare), and staff training on charge capture.

Robbie has degrees in Microbiology from Clemson University, a Masters in PT from Duke, and a DPT from the University of Montana. She resides outside Greenville, SC, with her husband Mike and near her daughter and son-in-law who are both physical therapists.

Emily Bagby

Emily has worked in healthcare business development for the last 15 years. With a focus in outpatient therapy and referral generation, Emily has contributed to significant growth in both private practice and hospital settings through strategic partnerships, physician alignment, and referral relations.

In addition to working with 8150 clients, Emily is the founder and owner of Mill Creek Consulting. Throughout her career in business development, she has led and supported marketing and practice liaison teams to ensure optimal results and conversions of new patients.

Certified in conflict Resolution and Professional Communication Coaching, Emily appreciates the challenging environment of behavioral marketing. She is an expert at maximizing Practice Liaison results. Emily has a BS in Marketing from Dalton State and resides near Dalton, GA. When Emily is not coaching a practice liaison, she can be found spending time with her husband Brent and son Luke.

Nicole Kluckhohn, PT, DPT, ATC

Nicole has over 20 years of experience spanning various rehabilitation settings and multiple operational and administrative roles in the rehabilitation industry. Her expertise and knowledge include operational management, leadership development, corporate and practice compliance, merger/acquisition transitional integration, managed service agreements/hospital partnerships, and payer credentialing.

Over the past 14 years, Nicole’s focus has involved managing, coaching, and being a resource to teams to facilitate growth both clinically and professionally with an emphasis on optimizing operational results while exceeding partner and patient expectations.

Nicole is a Certified Athletic Trainer, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New England, and a DPT from Regis University in Denver Colorado. She resides near Greenville, South Carolina with her husband Jason and their son, Caleb.

Madison has an 11 year background in top sales performance and business development, predominantly in the healthcare and rehabilitation industries. She is a Senior Consultant with Mill Creek Consulting where she works with healthcare leadership and practice liaisons to develop effective strategies & sales behaviors to achieve market share increase, referral growth and attainment of revenue targets.

As an enthusiastic strategist, she has consistently been among the top performers in her physical therapy sales career and led high performing sales teams. She has devised strategies to penetrate new markets, grow stable markets and correct poorly performing markets through referral development and physician relations.

Madison has a passion for helping practices achieve sustained referral growth by helping sales professionals reach their greatest potential. Her aptitude for sales excellence enables her to assist leadership in capturing and maximizing their sales talent. She has a BS in Business Management from the University of South Carolina Upstate and lives in Greenville, South Carolina with her husband, Zach.
